I get asked a lot of questions when couples first message/email and I’m always happy to answers any questions you have before booking in. Here are just some of the most frequently asked..

What is full day coverage and how much do you charge?

Usually covering from prep to just after the first dance, which is roughly 8-10hours. You’ll receive your digital photos in an online password protected gallery to download and share with family and friends. My up to date pricing and more information for full day weddings are on my investment page.

Do you offer half days?

I do offer micro coverage and elopements. For a quote I’ll need your venue, how many hours you’d like me for and an idea of what you’d like capturing to make sure it’s realistic and we can get the most out of the hours you want covering.

Where are you based?

I photograph mainly in the North West in and around Cheshire but I am happy to travel!

Do you offer albums?

Yes! I offer a full day and shorter day coverage packages both with the opportunity to add extras such as an album. I understand that most couples have a budget and not everyone wants an album, I’d much rather your opt in for one if you’d like it. These start from £350

Have you photographed our venue before?

If I haven’t worked at your venue before I will always try my best to visit before your day but if I can’t I’ll arrive extra early to have a look around. This helps me know where I am going and also gives me great ideas on where I can get lovely photographs for you.

How many photos will we receive?

Full day weddings receive a minimum of 400 digital images.

Are you insured?

YES! It’s so important to have insurance. I have public liability, professional indemnity and other equipment insurance.

How long will we need for formal group photos?

I suggest no more than 10 group shots as these can up a big chunk of your day – allow for 40 minutes for these. I usually ask for help from a member or two from the bridal party to help gather together your family and friends needed for photos. This is to make is easy and quick for everyone so you can all get back to celebrating together. For couples portraits around 20 -30 minutes where we get to sneak off for some lovely photos, this is a great opportunity for you to just take a few moments before heading back to celebrate with your guests.

What do we do if it rains?!

Don’t you worry, enjoy your day let me think about if it rains. I have shot weddings where it has absolutely chucked it down ALL DAY. But we had no major issues with photos. I have a clever little app that I look at and can see when it will stop, even if its for 5-10minutes we can get for couples photos outside. I carry two clear umbrellas in my car so they’re at the ready. But we can take some inside too.

Do we need to provide a meal for you?

A meal being provided is always appreciated as it’s a very long day. I don’t need a three course meal like your guests, caterers usually offer a discounted main meal for suppliers which is always lovely to have and saves me going off site to source food (a packed lunch in the car for 7 hours isn’t that great!). If a meal is provided it also means I don’t have to leave your venue to find something to eat and I’m less likely to miss anything.

How do we book?

Once you’re happy and would like to book, give me the ok to send over the contract, have a read through, once it is filled in, signed and the non-refundable booking fee is received I’ll send a confirmation email to say that you’re all booked in! No booking is confirmed or in my diary unless both have been received. A few months before the day I’ll be in touch to finalise timings and group shots. But if you need anything before then don’t be afraid to send me an email. To avoid disappointment please book as soon as you can/are ready, I hate having to turn away couples due to not being available.

How long will it take to receive our gallery?

I send sneak peeks within a week of your day and for your final gallery around 8weeks.

Suppliers would like photos from our day?

Not a problem! You don’t need to worry just send them my way (if you’re happy for them to have some). I’ll send some images for them and also if I get the opportunity to blog your wedding I’ll include their details and send them a link to view highlights from your special day.
