Mum and son river walk, Oxfordshire

It’s been a tough year for everyone so I decided a little while ago to try and brighten a couple of peoples day by popping up a competition for two sessions to be won, a couples session and a family session where I picked two lucky winners out of a bowl. We had to wait a little while until the Government guidelines allowed us to get out and do them but when we did it was well worth the wait! The winner for the family session was Collette and her adorable little boy Fletcher and this is how their session went…

I always give clients the option to choose their location, sometimes it’s somewhere that means something to them or somewhere they have walked before and liked. I’m always happy to give suggestions if clients aren’t sure. Collette chose a gorgeous walk along the river and it couldn’t have been a better location.

The sun was shining and it wasn’t too busy. Fletcher showed me his skills on his bike, he has no fear! It was so lovely to stop by the river to watch the ducks and swans and to see sweet moments shared between mum and son. We came a cross a lovely quiet field where Fletcher had fun jumping on Collette’s shoulders for a ride and then some quiet cuddles on the grass.

For Collette’s birthday her lovely friends had a photo from the session printed onto a canvas, Collette showed me and it makes me so happy to see session photos up on walls being shown off. Photos are made to be loved and shared!
