What a beautiful day for Aimee and Ant at Sandhole Oak Wedding Barn, Cheshire.

I’ve had the pleasure of working at Sandhole a lot over the last few years and I love coming back each time. Not only is Sandhole a beautiful venue to look at but it’s also in such a peaceful location – the perfect way to start your day.

I arrived for bridal prep where Aimee was with her mum Sarah and lovely bridesmaids, it was such a calm atmosphere. Danielle (Danielle Broughton – Evans) and Chelsea (Chelsea Make up Artist on socials) were both busy on hair and make up. It’s great when you make a connection with suppliers you work with often, Chelsea is definitely someone I absolutely love working with and highly recommend! She has such a talent for make up and is such a dream to work with. Danielle and I have worked together before too, she’s great at what she does and I always here great reviews from bides too! It’s always nice when you get to work with such lovely people. Chelsea and Danielle – a little dream team for Aimee getting ready!

The ceremony room at Sandhole always looks pretty, you really don’t need to add much to it to make it look good. I absolutely loved the flowers from Helen at Taylor Made Blooms! As Aimee and Ant were saying their vows the sun was coming through the big glass doors in front of them and shone lots of gorgeous light into the ceremony room. After, Ant told Aimee and I that during their vows he was looking out at the lake (have I mention Sandhole has a large lake?!) and spotted a fish jumping out of the water. Ant is a huge fan of fishing so, of course this was an added highlight to the day! It was a treat to listen to the super talented Callum Wright playing live during the ceremony and through out the drinks reception and wedding breakfast. It was one of the hottest days of the year with no clouds in the sky so we waited until the sun was a little lower to capture couples portraits in the golden fields, it’s always a bonus to have pretty locations so close to the venue! We finished the day on the bouncy castle and I left this sweet couple to enjoy the rest of the evening with their family and friends. Congratulations Aimee & Ant!
